There are a number of ways you can pay your bills, including:
- Paying online. Online payments require an additional service fee that will be added at the time of payment.
- Paying in person, or in person using our City Hall Drop Box. You can make cash, check or money order payments in the Drop Box in the center of the parking lot in front of City Hall, at 409 S. Main St. Cash payments should be limited to Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and a receipt will be mailed following processing. Checks or money orders can be placed in the Drop Box at any time.
- Pay By Phone: Call 1-888-272-9829, when prompted, enter your ID # located at the top right hand corner of your bill
- Paying by mail. You can mail your payment and return stub to City of Harrisonburg, Treasurers Office, P.O. Box 1007, Harrisonburg, VA 22803-1007.
Puede pagar los impuestos adeudados a través de los siguientes medios:

- The Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue:
- Appraises and assesses for taxation all real property in the City;
- Assesses individual and business personal property taxes;
- Assists citizens with filing Virginia income taxes;
- Administers special taxes on meals, lodging, admissions, utility services, and mobile communications;
- And administers the City's real estate tax relief and exemption programs and the land use special assessment program.
- The Treasurer's Office:
- Collects tax bills for individual and personal property tax, real estate tax, receipts of state collected taxes, cigarette taxes, and meals and lodging taxes.
- The City uses revenue from business and property taxes to maintain the city budget approved by City Council.
